# AHlert

> AHlert is an independent search tool for observed Albert Heijn "Laatste Kans" markdown offers (discounted near-expiry products) and shops in the Netherlands and Belgium. It is not affiliated with Albert Heijn. Agents can query it through a free, anonymous, read-only MCP server at https://mcp.ahlert.nl/mcp.

Important caveats for agents:

- Stock and prices are **last observed**, not live, reserved or guaranteed. Shops refresh individually; always report the observation age.
- Never compare a per-kilo price with a per-item price; use the comparable price fields.
- The service does not geocode addresses. Supply latitude/longitude for radius searches.
- The website is in Dutch; the MCP tools and their schemas are in English.
